About This Place

Nestled in the charming village of Tattershall, The Tattershall Park Country Pub and Kitchen offers a quintessential British pub dining experience with a delightful contemporary twist. This warm and inviting establishment perfectly balances the rustic charm of a traditional country pub with touches of modern elegance, creating a comfortable yet refined atmosphere that appeals to locals and visitors alike.

The menu here is a celebration of classic British pub cuisine, lovingly prepared to tantalize your taste buds. Standout dishes like the hearty Traditional Roast Beef & Yorkshire Pudding and the succulent Sunday Roast showcase the kitchen’s commitment to time-honored recipes done right. For grill enthusiasts, the choice between an 8oz Sirloin Steak or the robust 8oz Rump Steak promises tender, flavorful cuts cooked precisely to your liking. Those who crave comfort food will find solace in the Deep Fried Scampi or the New York Burger with Chips, both plated with care and brimming with satisfying textures and layers of flavor.

Vegetarian and lighter options such as the Tomato and Feta Cheese Salad and crispy Halloumi Fries add variety to the menu, while indulgent desserts like the warm, sticky Toffee Pudding and the silky Caramel Apple Pudding with Custard round off the meal with a comforting sweetness that lingers delightfully on the palate.

Accompanying the food is a well-curated drinks list, featuring a selection of robust red wines like the Beachhouse Shiraz and the Monologo Rioja Crianza, which pair beautifully with the grilled meats. And for those seeking a creative cocktail, the Passion Fruit Martini offers a refreshing and vibrant twist to your dining experience.

The atmosphere at The Tattershall Park is equally appealing, with a mix of lively bar areas and a more intimate dining space. Reviewers appreciate the welcoming staff and a calm yet jovial ambiance that encourages relaxed enjoyment. While some guests have noted the occasional noise from the bar area, especially near the fruit machines, the overall vibe is one of friendly hospitality complemented by tasteful decor. The outdoor pods and seating areas, especially in the warmer months, provide a magical setting with subtle lighting and leafy surroundings, making it a perfect spot for a leisurely meal or catching up with friends.

Customer feedback highlights the genuine warmth of the staff and the balanced pricing for what many consider a higher-end pub experience. Though a few have remarked on certain menu pricing, the quality and presentation of dishes consistently receive high praise, reinforcing the pub’s reputation as a place where traditional flavors meet attentive, thoughtful service.

Whether you’re stopping by after a day exploring the nearby Tattershall Lakes or looking to unwind in a cozy, sophisticated pub setting, The Tattershall Park Country Pub and Kitchen offers a heartfelt, authentically British culinary experience that is well worth the visit.

The broccoli was undercooked and we were located in the bar area although we booked the dining area so right next to the fruit machine which was noisy. The rest of thebfood was nice and the pudding was lovely and the staff were friendly.

We visited here twice during our winter stay at Tattershall Lakes. The last was pretty empty, but it’s out of season so I would expect it to be busy during summer. The service was good, we were able to take our dog which was nice! The place looks stunning inside, to be honest I feel that it looks upmarket in a fashion, but the food prices were very reasonable. I was excited to try the pie, and it was so good that I ordered it again a few days later! We will definitely be back when we return to the lakes in the future.

The food is tasty & a varied menu to satisfy all diners. Served with excellent customer service skills. Presentation of our main course & pudding was 1st Class. A warm & friendly welcome with an ambience of calm but lively atmosphere. Love the decor. The Pods outside looked lovely and the lighting & trees made it a real holiday experience. Well done to all staff and management we think you have got it just right! A welcome change from fast food eating places, screens etc.

A very friendly pub! Very good prices for food! Plenty of space in the pub, and the outside seating area looks nice too. It’s clean! The walk from tattershall lakes to the pub not exactly pram/ wheel chair friendly, you can definitely manage it but it’s more of a gravel track rather than a path, although it’s only 2 minutes off the site.

The service was great and the food was brilliant would definitely come back its just very over priced £5 for a side salad and under £8, for cheesy garlic bread. It was nice but very over priced. We sat outside and the music was brill in the sun.

Visited recently and have to say, the food was a real highlight — proper hearty meals, cooked well and served with a smile. You won’t leave hungry, that’s for sure. The atmosphere was a little flat at first, mostly because there weren’t many people in the restaurant. However, as it got a bit busier, the place definitely came to life. A few tweaks to the early evening vibe — maybe some music or a bit more buzz — could really make a difference. Overall, a lovely spot with real potential to be even better. Worth a visit — especially once the crowds roll in.
